The AIMS Women’s Commission has been founded with the following objectives:

to empower women through the sport of running
to improve women´s participation in distance running events throughout the world
to create the biggest and unique women´s world running movement
to lead the women´s distance running matters
to be the women´s world source of information about distance running
to link female runners all around the world
to attract sponsors for women´s social projects
to build active and healthy women
to give the rights recognition for female athletes
